KANSAS DEMOCRATIC PARTY STATEMENT ON THE OUTCOME OF THE KANSAS ATTORNEY GENERAL RACE

Topeka, KS – The Kansas Democratic Party Chair, Vicki Hiatt, released the following statement on the outcome of the Kansas Attorney General election.     

“A retired police officer and former prosecutor, Chris Mann’s life is a story of fighting for safer streets across Kansas. Having witnessed the tragedy of drunk driving first hand after being struck by a drunk driver at a routine traffic stop, Chris turned his pain into purpose and became a lawyer and prosecutor, putting criminals behind bars for crimes ranging from DUI to murder,” said KDP Chair Vicki Hiatt. 

“We thank him for stepping up and running a strong campaign for Attorney General. We are confident Chris Mann will continue to serve the people of Kansas.”
