KS-03 Democrats Speak at Town Hall For Our Lives, Yoder Again Fails to Show Up
April 8, 2018
Topeka, KS – Kansas Democrats running in the 3rd Congressional District’s 2018 primary participated in the Town Hall For Our Lives event in Olathe Saturday, the latest step forward in the nationwide student-led movement against gun violence.
Unfortunately, Rep. Kevin Yoder refused to take part in this important national conversation with his constituents, just the latest out-of-touch and partisan move he has taken at the expense of everyday Kansans.
By the time the event was over, it was clear that all the Democrats at the forum were leaps and bounds more qualified to represent the people of KS-03 than Yoder has for almost seven years.
And that’s what’s so great about the Democratic field in this race: Sharice Davids, Mike McCamon, Tom Niermann, Jay Sidie, Brent Welder, and Sylvia Williams all are ready to kick Yoder out of office!
That’s why it’s so important for us to have all the resources needed to get Democrats across the finish line this November, and it all starts now.
Everyday Kansans in the 3rd Congressional District deserve better than Kevin Yoder’s out-of-touch and destructive agenda.
It’s time for us to take back Kansas!
